The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAA40104) is designed to provide valuable skills and knowledge needed to become a qualified trainer, facilitator and/or assessor.

Highly qualified nationally accredited trainers deliver this innovative and powerful training course in a motivational and educational environment.

Training is conducted face-to-face, one day per week over a 10 week block consisting of 9 attendance days plus 1 study day. Extra work will be required outside course days.

What you will need to be eligible to to do the course -

Participant's language, literacy and numeracy levels are expected to be at a high level. Refer to our Quick Facts link below for further details.
Participants must be able to effectively use word processing and presentation programs, such as PowerPoint and Word. (Additional skills such as Excel would be an advantage.) Internet access is required for research purposes.
Access to a practical working environment; this can be arranged through Armstrong's if required.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), Recognition of Current Competency (RCC) and Mutual Recognition

Participants who have skills and knowledge equivalent to the units of competency, or who have completed units elsewhere may be eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Recognition of Current Competence (RCC).
